Sphenoid Sinus Stent

Developed with Dr. James Duncavage from Vanderbilt University, the sphenoid sinus stent is a new, patented product designed to prevent granulations and premature occlusion of the sphenoid ostium, while allowing drainage for access
and aspiration.

The mushroom-style inner flange is designed to compress during insertion and expand back to its original shape within the sphenoid sinus. The mushroom shape holds the stent in place, creating a secure anchoring system. The external shaft works as a drain while providing easy access for aspiration and irrigation.
