Surgical Instrument Management
Instru-Safe
systems organize surgical instruments in sets according to the way they are used,
and protects them against damage during transportation, storage and sterilization. Surgical
instruments are maintained in the best possible operating condition. Hospitals
save money by reducing instrument repair and replacement costs, reducing instrument
inventories and reducing setup time in surgery.
Standard and Custom Models Available

surgical instrument sets. Some of the standard models include:
Micromedics will also customize Instru-Safe cassettes to accommodate your particular
instrument sets at costs comparable to standard systems. Or Instru-Safe
components may be purchased separately to create your own unique system.
Original Equipment Design and Manufacturing (OEM)
Micromedics' experienced engineers will work directly with instrument manufacturers
to develop Instru-Safe products that add value to instrument sales and help manufacturers

Instru-Safe products can be CE marked for International marketing. Contact

Advantages
Instru-Safe systems fit into commonly used sterilization containers, or they
may be wrapped. Instru-Safe systems can be sterilized in pre-vacuum steam.
Because Instru-Safe is modular, systems can be reconfigured at minimal cost
to meet future as well as present needs.
Your Instru-Safe purchase includes installation, service and training.
Instru-Safe cassettes are made of anodized aluminum, which makes them stronger,
more durable, than plastic and lighter than stainless steel. Aluminum allows
for extra vent holes for better sterilant penetration and drainage, and has superior
thermal properties to avoid wet packs.
Our patented Hold-Its and Hold-Downs are designed to fit specific instrument
patterns, providing superior holding capability.
